BC Midget Championships

Sovereign sent 11 athletes to the  BC Midget Championships and brought home 5 medals.

Emma Smedley won her first Gold for the individual Classic race and Bronze for the sprints.  Hannah Mehain won Silver for individual Classic and Bronze for the sprints.  Aidan Oliphant won Bronze in the individual Classic race and placed 5th in the Sprints.  An excellent effort was put forth by Michelle Metza who placed 8th in the Classic race and 7th in the Sprint.  Emma Corbett placed 12th in the Classic and 11th in the sprints. Tom Corbett placed 8th in the Classic and 13th in the Sprints. Bryan Carruthers also raced and placed 7th in the Classic race and 6th in the Sprints.  Also racing for the first time were Claire Armstrong, Aidan Andrews, Nolan and Carson Basset.
