“Good Luck!” to SLNC athletes heading to World Champ trials.

Sovereign Lake Nordic Club Team members Allyson Cummings (19), Heather Mehain(18) along with SLNC member Tristan Flock (19) are set to compete for the few precious spots available on Canada's Team that will be competing at the World Junior Championships in Hinterzarten, Germany at the end of January.
SLNC senior (20yrs+) members, Greg Finch, Matt Wylie, Patrick Egan and Cameron Egan will also be testing their metal in the U23 and senior men's categories.
These trial races for the World Junior and World U23 Championships take place Jan 2, 3 and 5th, in Val Cartier, Quebec as part of the NorAm series. The best U23 athletes in the country will be there going head to head and Team members selected will be announced immediately following the competitions. We wish all the athletes the best of luck and fast skis as they battle toward their goals!
