patrol workshop
January 17, 2010
Sovereign Lake Ski Patrollers are continually improving their skills. Last weekend they were joined by other patrollers from across Canada for a workshop on first aid skills, skiing technique and coordinating medical coverage for special events.
The group was led by CSPS national coordinator, Frances Norlen, who instructed them on mobile and toboggan loading techniques.
The patrollers had the opportunity to try out their new skills on Sunday when they provided coverage for the Cadet Biathlon Race.
