Training Day, Friday, Dec 9th - It is a stunning day at Sovereign Lake as the racers perform their training sprints in preparation the Haywood NorAm Teck Sprint races taking place Saturday and Sunday.
The sun is shining, the tracks are fast and conditions are great according to skiers.
"It's very fast and the tracks are holding out well. The wax conditions are fast and simple enough that tomorrow should just be a good test of the engines," said Darren Derochie, head coach of Sovereign Lake.
"I came in Wednesday and checked out the track. It's hard and fast, and just how I like it," said Torin Koos. "There are three, four guys battling it out for the top spot. Hopefully I am in that mix" Koos pre-race interview with SkiTrax
