Bunnies (ages 3-5)

NB: No Bunnies session on Saturday, Feb 25.  As per the original Bunnies program schedule, there will not be a Bunnies session on Saturday, Feb 25 due to BC Winter Games @ SLNC. The stadium areas will be under full use by the Games events and not available for Bunnies use.  Note that 1Hop, 2Hop and Track Attack programs will run as normal on this day as they will be heading out onto trails not being used by the Games events. See you for Bunnies as usual on Saturday, March 3.

Designed to introduce children 3-5 years of age to the sport of cross country skiing and the healthy lifestyle associated with it. The focus is on giving the kids an Active  and FUN start as they develop co-ordination and balance through play in ski playgrounds, on the trails and participation in club fun days. Each child must be accompanied by one of their parents during every lesson.

Parents, no worries if you are need some help getting started on skis yourself – we have “Program Parent” and "Getting Started" lessons that are designed just for you! Our certified instructors will help you learn the skiing skills and give you guidance.

Note: Cold Weather Cancelation guidelines
 Cold weather cut-off for Bunnies is -12*C. In the event that a session is canceled, notice will be posted at the top of this page by 8:00am on Saturdays. If there is not a cancelation posted by 8:00am, then the session is running. Please contact Darren Derochie, SLNC Head Coach, with any questions or concerns.
