Sovereign Lake Nordic Club Racing Team

Our objective is to deliver a program that serves the needs of developing and high level racers competing on Provincial, National and International Stages.

Mission

To deliver  a racing program which provides opportunities for athletes to achieve excellence in training and competition.

Development Program

• For athletes age 8 to ~13 years interested in training and competing in cross country skiing.
• Dry land training starts in September on Tues, Thurs evenings and Sat mornings.
• On-snow training is conducted at SLNC Tues, Thurs evenings, and Sat, Sun mornings.
• Athletes compete in local and regional races, BC Cups and the BC Championships.

High Performance Program

• For athletes age ~14 to 20+ years, who display a commitment to year round training and ability to compete provincially, nationally and internationally.
• Athletes are on year-round training, testing and monitoring programs and compete in provincial, national and international competitions.
