BC Parks
The development of the Sovereign Lake area has been a co-operative effort involving B.C. Parks and the Sovereign Lake Nordic Club.
In 1990 the North Okanagan Cross Country Ski Club ( now the Sovereign Lake Nordic Club) undertook the responsibility for the operation of the area under a Park Use Permit.
All profits generated from ticket sales are reinvested into the area. An enlarged parking area are the most recent improvements funded by the club.
