Sovereign Lake Dog Trail
We are very happy to finally have a pet accessible trail at the Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre. The Gold Mountain Trial is dog friendly right from the trail entrance closest to the Wax Hut. Pet waste bags are supplied at both ends of the trail thanks to the generosity of our local sponsors. We have clearly marked the large hill section of the trail, please control your speed as Gold Mountain is a two way trail.
The following rules are designed to meet BC Parks regulations and ensure all users have a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Dogs are permitted on Gold Mountain trail and in the parking lot only.
- Dogs must be on leash at all times.
- A maximum of two dogs per skier.
- Dog owners are expected to remove dog waste.
- Dog owners are expected to ensure that their dogs do not disrupt the safety and enjoyment of other skiers.
