The Sovereign Lake Nordic Club, "S'kool Ski" Elementary School Ski Program began 8 years ago. Over the past 8 years this program has grown to be a model for school Nordic programs in Canada. Each year many school children participate in this popular program.

Through this program students have the opportunity participate in the sport of cross country skiing, develop their ski technique with the help of our CANSI certified Instructors, and gain appreciation and knowledge of our winter wonderland through various winter safety and interpretation activities. Most importantly they have lots of fun, while participating in a truly Canadian winter activity.
