ELIGIBILITY & LICENSES:
- Competitors must have a valid FIS, CCC,
foreign national or CCBC race license to enter the race.
- FIS license holders will be given preferential
seeding and only FIS license holders will be eligible for prize
money.
- CCC and foreign national license holders
will be given preferential seeding over CCBC license holders.
- Holders of FIS & CCC licenses will
have their results included in the Canada Points List.
- A skier registering without providing
a valid race license number will be issued a CCBC ski license
at a cost of $5 or a CCBC junior competitor license at a cost
of $1. The charge for such a license will be added to the entry
fee. CCC and FIS licenses must be obtained in advance and can
not be issued by the race organizers.

Please ensure that your license or your skiers'
licenses are up to date and that you know the license number when
you register for the race.

Altitude Training Centre on December 1, 2002 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

DRAW:
The draw for all races will be done
by computer on Wednesday December 4, 2002, (before or during captain
meeting).
START LISTS:
Start Lists for the Continental Cup Races
will be available at the CAPTAIN'S MEETING to be held at 7:00 PM
on December 4, at the Sovereign Lake Daylodge - Sovereign Lake.
BIB PICK UP:
Bibs for Thursday's and Sunday's race will
be available for pick up between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM in the basement
of the Sovereign Lake Day Lodge.
BIBS MUST BE PICKED-UP BY 9:30 AM.

WAXING:
Outdoor plug-ins are available on the decks
beside the day lodge. No skis are permitted in the day lodge. Teams
are responsible for cleaning up their waxing area.
AWARDS:
Medals and prize money will be presented
after each race. Total Prize money TBA. Only those competitors who
hold a FIS licence and are registered in the Open Mens' & Womens'
categories, are eligible for the prize money.

CONCESSION:
A concession will be available.
SPRINTS:
Due to the sprint format, decisions
by race officials during the knock-out sprint finals concerning
order of finish or disqualifications must be made during the course
of the event. There will be a five minute prostest period from the
end of the heat to make an oral protest to the Competition Secretary
who will be at the finish line.
The Canada/USA Sprint Relay Championship
will follow the conclusion of the knock-out sprints on Friday evening.
ACCOMMODATION:
It is important for the success of these events
that accommodations be booked through the Sovereign Lake Nordic
Club. The accommodation providers have agreed to support Nordic
events and services by paying a percentage of all accommodations
booked by the club. All accommodation providers are participating
and there is no additional cost to customers.
