Sovereign Lake will host roughly 65 of Canada’s top Biathletes on February 9, 10, and 12th as they compete for positions on the WYJCH Teams to represent Canada in the sport of Biathlon.

 

 

 

 

 

SLNC offered to host the small event as part of the new Biathlon Range event testing initiative. The new SLNC Range is proving to turn a lot of heads. These races are used in selecting teams to attend two sets of international race experiences as part of Team Canada.

Event Protocols

  • Double Vaccinations and Proof of Vaccination are required for all Volunteers, Support Staff, and Participants at ALL SLNC Hosted Races.
  • All Athletes, Coaches, Officials and Volunteers in the field of play (Range, Stadium, Course) will receive a wrist band to wear for the duration of the competition time period.
  • This wrist band along with identifiable Bib (Athletes), Coach Badge (Coaches) or Volunteer Badge (Officials/Volunteers) will allow access into the Range and Stadium on each day.
  • No wrist band or identifiable Badge = no access
