Serious Moonlight Tour
- This event has passed.
Celebrate the Moon Before Yule and Winter Solstice with skiing under the full moon on December 22nd, from 8 o’clock until midnight.
Register Now. There are still spots left. Register online to be sure of yours, or just turn up at 7:45pm.
The Serious Moonlight Tour will start at the Sovereign Lake Lodge and traverse Aberdeen and Lars Taylor, to the Black Prince Cabin for mulled cider and hot chocolate.
(If the traverse is too ambitious, no one — other than Santa Claus — will be watching if one is naughty and takes the nice shortcut to the Black Prince Cabin on Carl Wylie).
Participants must be 19 years of age or older, register at zone4.ca by December 16th, and wear a working headlamp.
The logo and name are those of an iconic singer whose energy will inspire our best “under the moonlight, this serious moonlight”:
Let’s dance
Put on your red shoes and dance the blues
Let’s sway
Under the moonlight, this serious moonlight
Let’s dance
Let’s dance
Let’s dance, dance, dance
Mulled Cider – because mulled wine is boring!
The BX Press will be providing hot cider at the Black Prince cabin.
Designated driver or not a fan of drinking while skiing? Non-alcoholic mulled cider and hot chocolate are alternatives.
