Sovereign Lake Nordic Club is very excited to host this high-level competition at our high altitude venue. Preparations are well underway. Please review the Race Notice carefully for event details and times.

SLNC will be the second stop on the US SuperTour Points Series in 2018. This is a huge opportunity for us to showcase our amazing venue and we welcome citizens from across the US in joining us for an exceptional weekend of racing.

CLASSIC TECHNIQUE CONTROL ZONES

For 2018, Cross Country Canada will continue utilizing CLASSIC Technique Control Zones. These zones require all athletes to classic stride within the designated zones, labeled with large red signage and blue whiskers. It is the athlete’s responsibility to know the location of these zones by pre-skiing their course.

	Animal Trail Animal Trail This short 300m backcountry trail is PERFECT for taking your little one for a cruise through the forest to find all the cut-out animals in the forest. An old trail that was just re-opened on January 18th, 2019 after being abandoned for at least 6 years. It is located within Wylies Loop accessed from the stadium. More signage is coming. 	Black Prince Black Prince 5.6 km loop offering a moderate downhill run including a couple of thrilling corners. After visiting the Black Prince cabin the invigorating climb will get your heart going. 	Lars Taylor Lars Taylor 12.5 km loop up Aberdeen and down Lars Taylor. This route leads to the summit of Silver Star Mtn where you can enjoy great views of the Vernon Valley and an exhilarating downhill either back the way you came or on Lars Taylor.
