Master’s Biathlon Camp


Sovereign Lake Nordic Club is pleased to host a Master’s Biathlon Camp held on January 27-29th, 2023. The camp will be hosted at the legendary world-class
the facility of Sovereign Lake Nordic Club. This 3-day camp is suited for Master’s biathletes who have access to their own equipment and have some skiing and shooting experience.
The purpose of the camp: an early season camp to fine-tune your skills for the competitive season. Meet and network with other awesome Masters’ biathletes and learn from world-class coaches.

Date: Jan 27-29, 2023

Camp Cost: $430 + taxes.

The camp cost includes:

  • 10 + sessions coached by certified and experienced coaches
  • Shooting analysis using SCATT Trainer
  • Ski technique session
  • Position/rifle fit analysis
  • Shooting theory and practical
  • Shooting combo session
  • Rifle maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Distance ski – explore our beautiful trails!
  • Range use pass/ paper/paint
  • Silver Star Social on Saturday night (food and drinks provided)

Not included:

  • Sovereign Lake Nordic Club Trail pass
  • Optional ammo testing with a minimum 4 different types of ammo ($30)



  • Bring snacks, drinks and lunch with you for the day. Microwave and snack concession is available inside the day lodge
  • Bring extra layers and a change of clothing
  • Bring your own ski equipment/rifles/ammo.
  • Ski equipment rentals are available
  • Ammo available for purchase (SK and Lapua Polar)
  • PAL required
  • Biathlon Canada membership required

Biathlon NorAm Open / WJYWC and Jnr Cup Tour #2 Trials


The newest North American biathlon circuit makes its debut at Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre in January 2023! 

Biathlon is back and everyone is invited. SLNC will play host to the first-ever North American Open. This event will feature some of the best biathletes in Canada and the US, vying not only for the overall title but for prestigious spots on Canada’s World Junior Championships Team and International Competition Teams. 

Join us from January 5th to 8th, 2023.
