Mobile & Downloadable SLNC Trail Maps

Welcome to our New Mobile Map Download Centre.

We have created a mobile PDF map that utilizes the GPS functionality of your phone to chart where you are on our trail system, and can even track distances skied throughout your visit. Please follow the link below to download the Avenza Trail App on your phone so you will never get lost again!

We will add a full XC105 Trail Network Map during 2018/19.

*Please note that this app does not use your data while in use on trails but you should be on wi-fi to download the app and maps to reduce data consumption.

Click on the Avenza logo below to forward you to the app download page. This application works on all iPhone and Android devices.

Once you have downloaded the app to your phone search “Sovereign Lake” for all the latest available geo-referenced maps available for our area.

Trail Report

Thursday  Nov 15     8:30 am

Groomed Aberdeen, Lars Taylor. Comin around the Mtn was groomed yesterday but please do not ski Silver Star’s trails as they are not yet open. Passmore and Wylie’s Loop have also been freshl;y groomed. Upper and Lower World Cup trails and Montezuma were groomed later yesterday and have had little use.

The complete Lower World Cup is now groomed for the first time in many years. Here is a special treat for those intermediate to expert skiers who want an exhilarating downhill run. For the super fun bit, go up the Maid of Vernon hill near the bridge then left down to the donut on Montezuma. Please note that this is a one way trail so for every ones safety, do not ski back up, but continue in the correct direction back to the stadium.

We ask that everyone follow the proper course direction.

The remaining trails are not open yet due to open water holes which will require cold weather and more snow.

Come on up and enjoy early winter at it’s best!

There is not enough snow under the trees so the snowshoe and backcountry trails are not open.
