Avenza Trail App

It can even track the distances skied and snowshoed throughout your visit. The app and maps are FREE! We recommend downloading the Avenza Trail App on your phone so that you never get lost again!
This app does not use your data while being used on-trail, but to reduce data usage during app or map downloads you should be on wi-fi .
How to view the Sovereign Lake map on Avenza:
- Login to your Avenza Maps account.
- Select “Store” in the app, then search “Sovereign Lake”. Select our free “Sovereign Lake XC Ski” map, then hit download!
- Follow the same process for our “Sovereign Lake Snowshoe” map.

- Select a link to our downloadable maps featured below. Open the download and copy the URL.
- Log in to your Avenza Maps account on your mobile device. Select “My Maps”, then the “+” at the upper right hand corner.
- Select “Import Maps”, then “From the Web”. Paste the map URL into the box, then hit go.
